“Social Network” is not a genre. It is a redundancy (electronics) a system design that duplicates components to provide alternatives in case one component fails). They are definition, social. All video games, walking in the park meeting different people, getting to know new people, communicating in computer (network), chatting, mails are, in some form or another,
fundamentally about interaction between two people or by making chain of people.
